I started filming and editing my friends and family in 2015 as a way to share fun moments together. Since then, this has turned into not only a hobby, but part of my job. I got my first paid video gig in 2021. I hope you enjoy a collection of my best ones over the years.
Canyoneering Das Boot and the Subway
My favorite video to edit. Also, I could watch the last 30 seconds a thousand times and I’d still laugh. I’d never been canyoneering before, so choosing to film my first experience was a feat, but I’m glad I did. I used an iPhone 12 and iMovie.
Shoe Review
I couldn’t find a good review for these shoes before I bought them, so I made one. My goal was to keep it within sixty seconds. I used an iPhone 13, edited with Final Cut Pro X.
Rock Climbing
I volunteer for a youth organization called Get Outside. I get to do some of their videos. This one I got to both film and edit. It was my first time filming with a drone. I used an iPhone 13, a DJI Mavic Pro, and edited with Final Cut Pro X.
The Nativity
This is the most time-consuming and rewarding project I’ve taken on. We needed a video to replace the annual stressful/irreverent family Nativity reenactment. This took three different evenings of filming and a 5lb bag of gummy bears to help the kids cooperate.
I did all sorts of prep and listened to different music for weeks to get this just right so that we could sing along each years we show this. There were tears on many parents’ faces when we premiered this, so I think it did the job.
I used an iPhone 13 and Final Cut Pro X.
